My First Name Frame!!!

I made my first name frame tonight! It is for my 7th grade teacher that I still keep in contact with today! I am so proud of myself. It took me over 2 hours to make it, but I'm so excited on how it came out. It's hard to see but I stamped the word "always" in the Hodgepodge circle. I'm always telling her that I will "always" call her by her proper teacher name Mrs. Patton because she will always be my teacher. I am seeing her on Wednesday so I'm going to give it to her then (I hope she doesn't look at my blog before then! If so surprize Mrs. Patton!). I used Lovely Liliac and Certenly Celery ink and cardstock and peices from the Hodgepodge hardware set. I also used the Print Pattern background stamp for the background and the flower image from the Little Pieces set and the white gel pen for the dots on the background. I did for faux stitching around the letters stamped in certenly celery. I'm pretty pround of my accomplishment. There are definately some parts that aren't perfect, but I'm so glad I did it and I hope that Mrs. Patton likes it when I give it to her.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Happy New Year everyone! I'm sorry I'm blogging this a little late, but we have been so busy. Zachary just started back to school today, so now I have a bit more time to think about doing this now. This Gingerbread house picture is one that my brother John and his family do every year! They also have a tradition every year that on New Years Eve they blow up the gingerbread house! Yes, you heard me right they blow it up!!! It's incredible! Quite a site to see. This year they made a really cute video to go along with it. It has to do also with a big wind storm that we had hear in the Seattle area right before Christmas! Take a look it is so cute. My first blog

Hello,
This is my first attempt at blogging. I hope to have this all figured out soon so please bear with me. This picture is a sample of the candy bar wrappers that I made for my son Zachary's teachers. Although, his teachers will be getting them late due to the fact that the last day before his holiday break we had a really bad wind storm and the power went out and he had no school. We ended up being without power for 5 days!!! I'm so glad that it came on before Christmas! Yeah!
